Advancing communications expertise

Communication is a key part of life for everyone, but how often do we analyse, review and improve our communication skills, creating pathways to advance our expertise in this critical area?

Seras offer continuous learning and development opportunities to all teams across the business. This helps empower our teams, builds on existing talent and keeps skill sets strong.

In September, a number of the Seras team from a range of different departments within the business were invited to take part in communications training. This is the first step in a series of planned training sessions to help develop and improve communications skills across our business.

Marianne Thomson, Learning and Development Manager who looks after this key area for the business said, “Teams flourish when they’re well supported, and training courses meet their growing needs. Part of my newly created role is to build effective training courses in key areas so that the Seras team can thrive in a positive, supportive and structured environment.

After assessing and reviewing this communications course we will continue to drive improvements across all of our training sessions as they’re rolled out across the business. Communications training is just the beginning in this exciting journey for the Seras team.”
