Last week, our Widnes offices were transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour as we celebrated Colour Day in support of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day 2026. The event saw teams across the company wearing items of clothing in their designated colours, with the office decked out in streamers, balloons, and even a spectacular balloon arch to mark the occasion.
Colleagues gathered in their colour groups for a lively buffet and a fun Colour Day quiz, fostering camaraderie and team spirit throughout the day. Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we raised a fantastic £308 for Red Nose Day, making a meaningful contribution to Comic Relief’s charitable initiatives.
In the spirit of giving, we ensured that leftover food was donated to a local foodbank, where it was warmly received.

Luke Preston, Head of Logistics said, “It was brilliant to see our Transport colleagues leading the Colour Day celebrations. Moments like this really show the strength of our culture with teams from across the business coming together, getting involved, and creating something genuinely uplifting.
Seeing Transport at the heart of such a vibrant, people‑focused event is a great reminder of how connected our teams are and how powerful our shared values of Stronger Together and Accomplish More can be when we come together.”
To commemorate the unity and creativity shown during Colour Day, Seras branded T-shirts are now travelling between our sites and transport hubs. We’re inviting all colleagues to pick a colour and sign the T-shirt in that colour, which will then be framed and displayed as a lasting reminder of this special event.
A huge thank you goes out to our team of Colour Day coordinators for organising Colour Day, they worked tirelessly to make it a success. The celebrations not only brought our teams together but also highlighted our commitment to community support and fundraising for a great cause.
