It’s often the smallest acts of kindness that make the biggest difference in our communities. Recently, a team of Seras volunteers spent half a day supporting South Liverpool Foodbank, helping to sort and store donated food items to ensure vital supplies are ready to reach local people and families in need.

Making a difference together
Working alongside the food bank team at their Hunts Cross warehouse, our volunteers helped organise incoming donations, check and sort food supplies, and prepare stock for distribution. Every item carefully sorted and stored plays an important role in supporting individuals and households experiencing hardship across the local area.
The day provided a valuable opportunity for colleagues to give back to the community while seeing first-hand the incredible work carried out by South Liverpool Foodbank and its dedicated volunteers.

Supporting our communities
At Seras, we are committed to making a positive impact beyond our day-to-day operations. Community volunteering forms an important part of that commitment, giving colleagues the opportunity to use their annual volunteer day to support local charities and organisations that make a real difference.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the first volunteering day and contributed their time and energy to such a worthwhile cause.

More of our team will be joining South Liverpool Foodbank in October
Following the success of the first session, a second volunteering day at South Liverpool Foodbank is planned later in October, providing another opportunity for colleagues to support the food bank’s vital work. Volunteers will once again be helping with sorting and storing donated items, ensuring supplies are ready to reach those who need them most.

We would like to thank South Liverpool Foodbank for welcoming our volunteers and supporting them throughout the day. We look forward to volunteering with the team again next week.
